Despite controversy over the political views of author Orson Scott Card, the high profile adaptation of his classic sci-fi novel "Ender's Game" ended up easily winning the box office this weekend, bringing in an estimated $28 million according to Film.com.
Returning champ "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa" stayed strong in second place with $20.5 million, while newcomers "Last Vegas" and "Free Birds" debuted in third and fourth place, earning $16.5 million and $16.2 million respectively.
